Warranty

Crash Replacement:

 

 

Accidents unfortunately happen in the world of cycling. Since we ride in lycra sometime your new kit can be damaged when you go down. If this happens, email us at Sales@theheavypedal.com with your order number, pictures and detail of the damage to the garments and we will issue you a replacement discount. If you damage your items in the first 6 months of your purchase you will receive 40% off your replacement item. After 6 months from original purchase you will receive 25% off your replacement items.

 

 

Warranty:

 

 

Heavy Pedal offers a 9 month warranty from purchase date on all products. Within that time frame, if a product fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will evaluate the item on a case by case basis to decide if it is eligible for repair or replacement, at no cost to the customer. If you have purchased a Heavy Pedal item at one of our retailers, please handle your warranty directly with that shop. Heavy Pedal will not be able to issue a warranty RA if we do not have proof of purchase in our records. What will we warranty within the warranty time frame?

  • Chamois Insert comes unstitched
  • Zipper breaks
  • Thread breaks-in most cases we can repair, but not every case.

Garments returned for warranty inspection must be cleaned. If they are not clean upon receiving, the garments will be sent back and the customer will forfeit their warranty rights.

 

Exclusions:

  • Any damage from crashes or accidents on the bike.
  • Any items laundered contrary to manufacturer's recommended washing instructions. For the most part with cycling apparel, machine washing in cold water or hand washing and hang drying are recommended, unless instructions indicate otherwise. No Bleaches please.
  • Chaffing on the inner leg from saddle wear.
  • Fabric Deterioration: Fabric will wear over time, especially with the components of sweat that naturally break down fabrics.  We recommend that you wash your Heavy Pedal Apparel very quickly after use.

Steps to acquire a Warranty Return Authorization:

  • Email Sales@theheavypedal.com
  • Include order number, pictures of damaged product and description of issue with item in your e-mail. Wait for response before the next step in the process
  • Item will need to be sent back to Heavy Pedal.  Upon receipt your item will be reviewed and determination will be made if the issue is a manufacturers’ defect.
  • If item qualifies a replacement will be sent back to the customer.
